So I avoided saying it, you know the phrase that people say on February 14. Instead I did a few of my favorite things. Listened to something old, discovered something new and checked in on something good.
First up was an old Brazilian tune I had stuck in my head, I (heart) this! Novos Baianos
Than there was this new stuff from this dude I didn't really know about Charles Hamilton, I was missing BK and I love the way this video looks, I (pink) this.
And finally something I knew would be good. The word from my girl Chioma Nnadi, she drops it every Friday at the Fader. I imagined Chom's flipping a David David tank when the sun comes back to NYC
